The Breitenmessgerät für warmgewalztes Band is a non-contact photoelectric measuring instrument for high precision online measurement of steel strip width. It works based on double-lens and triangulation technology, which can accurately compensate for the change of the strip edge position; it is designed with the functions of comprehensive diagnosis, online calibration and verification, online measurement, etc; and is able to monitor the real-time measurement status and quickly calibrate the system operation dynamically. The measuring system can convert the measured "cold width value” of the strip according to the strip temperature expansion curve input by the customer. The gauge is characterized by fast head response speed and data processing speed, high measurement accuracy and long service life, etc. It is used for steel strip width measurement in the rough rolling and finishing rolling line of hot rolling line.
